Internship Program

Our Internship program, lead by Steve Luten, is a dynamic, year-long opportunity for post-college graduates. The internship is set up for both Native, and non-Native, graduates who are interested in serving in a cross-cultural setting where they will impact the lives of Native American youth.

The internship focuses on the spiritual development and character growth of the intern, building cross-cultural missions skills, leadership training of the intern, and provides an excellent “spring-board,” where people can be immersed in another culture here in the U.S. before following the call from God to go to another country.

The interns’ primary focus will be working with 4-1 Youth Church. Here an intern will develop healthy relationships with students, be given significant leadership responsibility, facilitate small groups, be involved in discipleship, conduct family visits, lead out in youth conferences, rallies, and our annual family camp and pow-wow, as well as plan regular social activities.
