Community Healers

We firmly believe that students shouldn't have to wait until they are adults to be able to minister to someone else. Creator has given each student certain gifts and Community Healers is an excellent program that enables them to put their gifts to work.

The third Saturday of every month, students are taken across the reservation and do acts of kindness for people. Sometimes students cut wood for elders so they can have a fire to keep them warm for the winter, and other times they paint over graffiti, serve in a homeless soup kitchen, or just pick up trash.

Community Healers also give students projects that they can put in their school portfolios--a requirement for graduation.
